Glico Pocky

Pocky is a Japanese snack consisting of chocolate-coated biscuit sticks, first sold in 1966 by the Ezaki Glico food company. The snack was named after the Japanese onomatopoeic word "pokkiri" which resembles the sound of the snack being cracked. The original flavor is chocolate, but Pocky now comes in various flavors including strawberry, cookies and cream, matcha green tea, and banana. Each Pocky stick has a handle left bare of chocolate to prevent mess and allow for multi-tasking while eating. Pocky is known for its iconic red box and is enjoyed for its balance of high-quality, creamy chocolate and the crunch of a biscuit stick.
